Almanack Arts

Through industry outreach and research, Almanack Arts invites established and emerging artists doing groundbreaking work to come and live on the farm, escaping the pressures of the commercial world at the precise point in their career when they can benefit most from the solitude, focused study, and mentorship our organization provides.  

In addition to our flagship residency programs and retreats, we often partner with local organizations that come into our space and share their expertise and teachings with the broader Nantucket community through classes and workshops.

Almanack Arts is proud to be an ambassador between Nantucket and the broader music community worldwide.  Bringing musicians, songwriters, producers, and often their families to Nantucket for the first time to experience the magic of Nantucket is at the core of what we do.

We are located on a secluded 7-acre private estate with a barn, pond, apple trees, and plenty of wide-open space.  There are conservation trails around the entire property that lead to the hidden forest, cranberry bogs, and ponds.  Nantucket is known for its miles of coastline and exquisite sunsets.  For more information on our programs email kelly@almanackartscolony.org
